Unusual Occurrences in the Life of Rob Williams

Robert Williams

The information in this testimonial is un-researched. I have never been subjected to
Therapy or hypnosis. The information herein is strictly from my memory, over the years, and from the events as best recalled.

I would like to share my experiences with those that enjoy reading my story.

Presently, I reside in the Houston area and am employed as a Reliability Engineer for a petrochem company. My current age (in 2008) is 61.

My first experience was at the age of four (1951) while living in northern Oklahoma City.
Adults often forget the true learning powers of young children. My father owned a struggling small business and we were an early owner of a Stromberg-Carlson 10” B&W Television. The local news covered stories about UFO sightings throughout the country and, for a period of 3-5 days, a few sightings were reported in the OKC area.

I understood the concept of UFOs. In the early 1950s, central air was not available and it was a family custom to lie on pallets and look at the wonders of the night sky.
One evening, during the time of the OKC sightings, I pestered my parents to spread a pallet outside so I could watch the sky. As my parents were cleaning up after dinner, I was in the front yard on a pallet searching the sky and watching for what I hoped would be a UFO sighting. After approximately an hour, I noticed a cigar shaped object silently go by at a low altitude from north to south (our neighborhood street ran east & west). It crossed our street about ½ block to the east and continued to the south. There were no lights on the vehicle. A street light near the point of crossing created enough brightness to confirm the view. I told my parents about what I had seen and they weren’t surprised. They begin to discuss the Roswell incident and how they believed the initial reports and thought it was a cover up. Remember this is 1951; therefore Jessie Marcel’s admission on “In Search of” in 1978 was no surprise to me when I saw the initial airing.

Approximately a year later, I experienced an accident while playing with my older sister and her girlfriends in our backyard. As they were 5-6 years older, they were playing rough with me, actually wanting me to go away and leave them alone. I was 5 at the time. My sister, while spinning me around, let go and I traveled under the seesaw pipe end just as her friends were bringing it down. It cut a small gash in the top of my head. My parents rushed me to the emergency room at St. Anthony’s, as the bleeding was profuse. The doctor said it was not serious and he could stitch it up. Naturally, I was frightened and became weak on the operating table. I experience a typical OBE experience. (How would a 5 year old know about such things?) I sensed myself rising to the top of the room and entering a dark swirling tunnel of light. The light was so bright; I could barely make out what was coming up next. As I slowly traveled through the tunnel, I met one major and two minor robed, human-like characters. We talked briefly and they told me to go back, it was not time for me to come with them and that I would be ok. I returned back through the tunnel and began to see the top of the operating table from the ceiling. I watched as the Doctor finished the stitches and gradually returned to my body. As the doctor finished, I begin to describe my experiences. He assured me it was just a dream but, as I begin to describe my detailed observations of how he had sewn me up, I saw his look change from an assured look to one of fear or concern. As he didn’t know how to deal with my questions, he quickly hurried me out.

Due to the media attention and the influence of the 50’s B Sci-Fi movie craze, I had suspicions of existence of alien visitors although I had no other conscientious recollection of any such contact until about the summer of 1957. At the time, I was with a group of Oklahoma school children making a train trip to Houston on a special charter dual-level coach Santa Fe “El Capitan” train brought in by KOCO TV Channel 5 in OKC for the event. The train was magnificent, fairly new, shiny, spotless and had new car smells. The trip had been undersold and there was plenty of room onboard.
I made friends with three other boys my age from various parts of Oklahoma. I don’t recall their names & places, I only remember they were from outlying towns and not from the OKC area so I knew future contact would be difficult and they would be passing acquaintances. In our car, it was loud and crowded on the upper level so I suggested we move to the lower level so we could visit together. The lower coach level was empty. We rotated one bench to have benches facing each other to make it easier to visit. As we were traveling southbound, I was in the North bench, facing south and was near the west window. We began visiting and talking about the time we crossed the Red River area. I remember passing through valleys in the Arbuckle Mountains a little earlier. It was near dusk when we saw a shiny object to the east. It could have been a 1/8 moon section except that the bottom was almost a perfect horizontal line (not a crescent shape). I did not notice lights or window ports. It had a metallic, shiny look with a hazy glow similar to what one would expect with the moon but was not positioned, as would be the moon. I remembered we commented that it was probably the moon, however, we didn’t really buy that explanation and were a little frightened. We ignored it and began talking about other things to get our mind off of it. One of the boys looked up a few moments later and noticed it had moved several windows to the south. I suggested that the track had curved as the likely explanation for the shift. It began to turn dark and we fell asleep.

My next memories were finding myself on an examination table. I began to struggle with a short robed creature that was trying to secure me to the table but didn’t seem to want me to see their face. I fought loose and felt proud that, as a child of 10, I had fought off my opponent. I looked to my left and saw a strange tall gray alien creature, sitting in a chair near a passageway. The alien had a preying Mantis resemblance. The creature’s facial features were like the familiar face in the illustrations on Whitley Streiber’s books. Large black almond-shaped eyes, recessed nostrils, no ears and only a small slit for a mouth. The gray began to argue with the small robed creature. The robed creature wanted to continue with the examination but the Grey was telling it to stop. To my right were three other tables where my three friends were being examined. I remember seeing the examining creatures inserting long needle like probe in my friends and I remember the struggle and the screaming. The tall grey jumped suddenly from the chair right to my face and stared into my eyes for a few moments and then returned to its chair. The grey began to talk to me telepathically in a soothing, friendly female voice in perfect American English, as I would expect a mother or teacher (female authority) to sound; however, there was no true sound. It was telepathically projected to the center of my head almost as if it were a thought.
I felt the gray could read my mind and found it difficult to ask questions for fear that the gray would read my intent. In a couple of cases, as I would construct questions, the gray would answer before I spoke. The answers were riddles, which made little sense to me. I do remember saying, “ You have no right to do this” as I knew it was an illegal procedure. They gray responded in a confident, almost chuckling, “Yes, we do have a right to do this.”

The gray decided to take me on a tour. We entered the passageway to my left front. She showed me a star map and what appeared to be a control area. There may have been a small gray present at the control area. We continued into the next room and spent a few moments there. Coach seats were there as on a train or in a plane. The room was full of uniformed Americans in brown dress uniforms, either Army or band uniforms. The men in the room seemed to be in a drugged slow moving state and basically ignored us as they talked to each other.

We returned to the examining room. By that time, I had calmed down considerably.
Their control of me seemed almost narcotic as in being drunk. I remember telling her (the gray) that I would co-operate & lie on the table if they needed to examine me. The gray said “that wouldn’t be necessary, they weren’t really there for me.”

My next memory was waking up in what I believe was Fort Worth. As the train had extra cars, it appeared they were going through switching maneuvers to de-couple and remove cars from the train. As the train continued, we arrived in Houston very early. We slept for a couple of hours on the train till sunrise and then boarded buses for the Amarillo Cafeteria for breakfast of ham, juice & powdered eggs. I remember the Amarillo Cafeteria; as it was a huge quonset hut, warehouse type structure for feeding large groups. As we boarded the busses to the cafeteria, I tried to get the boys to talk about the previous night. They were very frightened. Two of them had serious denial memory blocks and the other boy (willing to talk a little said it was horrible and he just wanted to forget it). While I had a lot of questions, they just wanted to go on and try to enjoy the trip. We agreed not to discuss the events of the previous night, as we could not expect anyone to believe or understand those bizarre occurrences. It is possible that this event was very near the time of the famous RB47 incident that also was occurring in this area.

After I returned home, I tried to explain it to my parents but felt it better to agree it was a dream and drop it. My mother did have a talk with me about other sorts of dreams I may have experienced and mentioned how she often had dreams of flying over strange cities with an unusual companion. Over the next couple of years, I also had such dreams. I remember the odd sensation of having visitors in my room. I remember one, dark new moon night in which I was sure a creature was in the middle of the room observing me for a couple of hours. I was on the top bunk. It was the only time in my life (and I’ve been though many frightening nights in combat) that I was truly scared stiff. I could not move at all. After lying awake for over two hours, I finally fell asleep and awoke frightened but able to move in the morning.

Please make note of the fact that what occurred was similar, in many respects, to the Betty & Barney Hill events not introduced to the public till two years after our abduction and, in context, considerably different than “B” Sci-Fi tales then available in books and movies. I found I didn’t want to believe it. Psychological denial can be very strong. I thought of all types of explanations. 1) It was only a dream, 2) The train crew or trip promoters were playing a joke on us in the upper level of another coach car, etc. My denial was so strong that, it was not until I saw the cover of Whitley Streiber’s first book that I began to accepted the truth.

The events from 1959 through 1972 were also bizarre. I have had missing time while traveling but such times don’t lead to memorable occurrences such as described earlier. The most astounding thing was the paranormal effect it had on me. I don’t claim to be a remote viewer nor have I seriously studied remote viewing techniques; however, without any mental effort, I possessed unique abilities to find lost objects. From Junior High through High School, Vietnam and College I had unique abilities to find lost objects, to track the enemy, to know when danger was present. There were so many cases in which friends and family would ask me to locate missing items, that it just became a natural routine. Sure, some of this could be asking the right questions, being a good detective. I will never know the difference between making a sound investigation and when a sudden thought is psychically induced rather than reasoned.

While in Vietnam, I served with the 1st Brigade, 101st Airborne (Band of Brothers). I was a Sergeant and squad leader in the most decorated Battalion in the U.S. Army (2/502 Strike Force). During my year (June 1968 to June 1969) I was in approximately 30 different firefights in and around Hue and DaNang and the Ashau Valley. In my company, casualties were 50% with and additional 25% being killed.
I had an odd sense of reading maps, tracking the enemy, predicting when and where the enemy would be. A sense that appeared to be more accurate than pure reasoning abilities alone. Upon return to OKC after Vietnam, I discussed this ability with my mother who had also been reading psychic material. She wanted to “test” my ability. My mother dealt five cards from a shuffled deck face down. She looked at the cards and asked me to identify them. As I concentrated on each card, a wait of 10 seconds to 2 minutes would occur before my mind developed a best guess. I correctly identified all five cards. Random odds of this event approach 350 million to 1. I do believe my safe return from Vietnam with only minor fragment wounds was due, in part to Devine or alien intervention. I am a Christian believer but am convinced I had extraordinary help.

On one of my missions near the end of the year, our unit was placed in a particularly dense and high area NW of Dong Ap Bia (Hamburger Hill) 2-3 additional high mountains are in a small pocket between Hamburger Hill and the Laotian border. While patrolling at approximately 4500 feet, my squad being on point, we encountered two “Bigfoot” type creatures. Sure, a type of baboon referred to, as “Rock Apes” commonly exist in the mountainous areas of Vietnam; however, these creatures had human facial features. These were not the traditional “Rock Apes”. I saw rock apes on many occasions. There were two creatures both male, one was a mature large male and the other appeared to be an adolescent male. I talked with the point & slack man (first two men in the column)and we agreed not to report it. There was too much pressure to locate the enemy, engage, and “get body counts” to make such a report. If one does research on the Internet, one will find articles about such creatures existing in my operating area, the Thua Thien Province of Vietnam. My basic theory is that, our sweeping search for the enemy had forced “Bigfoot” out of his habitat.

After Vietnam, I enrolled at Oklahoma State University, Obtain a B.S in Electronics and had a somewhat successful career with several major companies spending many years in the South at a large 6 plant chemical complex. I ultimately became the Maintenance and Project Engineering Manager of the complex. My perception as to company growth, best equipment selection and business strategies was above average, For years, I could accurately predict almost to the day & time when major equipment would fail and could accurately plan and prevent most occurrences. I was able to achieve a 95+% on stream time in a very large complex. . I often had feelings and events of precognition and Déjà vu. I would go into brief meetings with the feeling that I had previously had this meeting and could almost verbatim say what would be said and by whom and what the ultimate consensus decisions would be. While, like remote viewers, I could only be about 90% accurate and could not distinguish between sound decision making and outside premonition or intervention. I felt that, in spite of several moves, my visitors would always know where to find me. I felt that a slightly painful lump low on my right kneecap was a “tracking device”. I have no way of knowing if this were true or not. I took a knife and removed it about 1995 and experienced a feeling of relief that they no longer knew my location. This could be fantasy but I don’t believe so. It was somewhat like a slither of glass and I kept it for about three years in an old prescription bottle thinking I would have it analyzed but finally threw it out.
I moved several times, while in the South. Soon, after each move, I would see a Southern Owl peering into my window. I had the eerie feeling they were watching me in this disguise.

Did I experience missing time? Yes, many times generally while driving or traveling but I don’t know if this was a normal daydream situation or if it was something else.
On one occasion, prior to my removal of the “tracking device” I was driving home late at night (I lived in the country) about 3AM after a long turnaround (plant outage). I missed my turn to the house and traveled 9 additional miles before realizing it. I had absolutely no recollection of the past 9 miles. I did not observe my time prior to missing the turn so don’t know how much time was lost. I was, however, convinced that event was likely an abduction. At this point in time and without professional counseling, I do not feel that I was frequently abducted. I do feel that, prior to 1995, they were in mental contact with me fairly often.

Since the removal of the “possible tracking device”, I feel whole and disconnected. I not only had to deal with delayed stress from abduction for many years but also from the war. I am a strong, stable person and was able to deal with on my own. My spouses (I remarried once) are not likely to understand these events and I have not fully shared these experiences with them. Around my home, I’m not aware of lights or UFO sightings or nighttime abductions in recent years.
