UFOs and the Interdimensional Hypothesis

Wednesday, July 23rd, 2008

Scott Corrales

In 1994, a number of European UFO researchers and authors met at the Santo Espíritu del Monte monastery in the Andalusian city of Valencia, Spain. Many of them couldn’t help feeling like conspirators plotting the overthrow of an unreasonable political regime: they had gathered at this retreat for the purpose of furthering an alternative approach for the study of the UFO phenomenon. Admittedly, this was hardly innovative, but it was their intention to officialize their intention as a declaration, much in the same manner of those patriots who met in Philadelphia in 1776.

UFOs - Conspiracy Or Indifference?

Wednesday, July 23rd, 2008

Nick Pope

Nick Pope details the British Government’s policy and knowledge in relation to UFOs, and examines the evidence for a cover-up.

On 5 November 1990 a squadron of Royal Air Force Tornado jets were flying over the North Sea, on their way back to their base.  Suddenly, and to the amazement of all the experienced pilots, their aircraft were overtaken at high speed by a UFO.  None of these trained observers were able to identify the craft that made our most sophisticated aircraft look obsolete by comparison, and a report of this encounter was sent by signal to the Ministry of Defence.  What happened next?  Were the pilots visited by anonymous intelligence officers, threatened with the Official Secrets Act and warned to keep quiet about their sighting?  Or is the truth of the matter somewhat different?

The Project Condign - Official Complete Reports

Wednesday, July 23rd, 2008

During a policy review in 1996 into the handling of Unidentified Aerial Phenomena sighting reports received by the Ministry of Defence, a study was undertaken to determine the potential value, if any, of such reports to Defence Intelligence. Consistent with Ministry of Defence policy, the available data was studied principally to ascertain whether there is any evidence of a threat to the UK, and secondly, should the opportunity arise, to identify any potential military technologies of interest.

The Condon Report and UFOs

Tuesday, July 22nd, 2008

Dr. Edward U. Condon

As consultant on UFOs to the U.S. Air Force for more than 20 years, Dr. Hynek has examined thousands of reports of "flying saucers" and investigated many of them personally. At the beginning of his consultative assignment, his mission was to determine which of the sightings were due to astronomical phenomena - meteors, planets, or stars. By the end of 1949, Dr. Hynek had examined about as many UFO cases as the Condon Report staff has. He came to the same conclusion as Dr. Condon - that the UFO phenomenon was hardly worth serious scientific consideration. In the years since then, however, Dr. Hynek has had reason to change his earlier opinion. He does not agree with the Condon Report and in this review essay he tells why. Dr. Hynek is head of the Department of Astronomy and director of the Lindheimer Astronomical Research Center of Northwestern University.

Alien Abduction: Political, Economic, and Religious Implications

John Mack, M.D.

The Western scientific/materialist worldview has been hugely successful in its explorations of the physical world, revealing many of its secrets and using this knowledge to serve human purposes. We have overcome the harshness of winter, reduced suffering through advances in medicine, and learned to communicate electronically with those far away. At the same time we have applied our knowledge to creating weapons of destruction that can now easily destroy life as we know it. Our use of modern technology to tear resources from the earth is bringing the biosphere to the brink of collapse. We are a species out of harmony with nature, gone beserk in the indulgence of its desires at the expense of other living beings and the earth that has given us life.

Abductees Speak - Journey of Discovery by Becky

David M. Jacobs

Sometimes when I look back over my early life, I wonder how I missed them:  gaps of time as long as nine hours, bumps and bruises, odd dreams and ideas.  All of them idly wondered about, but never considered for any length of time.  They never struck me as abnormal, since they had been going on from my earliest memories.  This was simply just how life was and I learned to adapt to it.
